Real Rock Friday Nights at Boyne Mountain

Boyne Mountain and Real Rock (FM 105.1 & 95.5) are teaming up to throw down deals that are sure to rock your world. So get your weekend started in the right direction by Rocking the Slopes of Boyne Mountain every Friday night through early March. There’s no better way to celebrate the start the weekend than with $10.50 night lift tickets, not to mention deals on rental equipment as well as a food and beverage special in the Snowflake Lounge.
On January 13th a Real Rock radio personality will be at Boyne Mountain broadcasting live from the Snowflake Lounge and giving away swag.
Real Rock Deals:
Lift tickets: $10.50 4pm – 9pm for all ages, of course skiers and riders 8 years or younger and 70 years or older are still FREE
Equipment Rental: $10.50 for ski and snowboard rental packages
Snowflake: $10.50 serving of “bone-in” wings and a pitcher of Bud Light Lime, Labatt Blue Light or soda. This special is available 5pm – 9pm in the Snowflake Lounge only.

The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate a long weekend than at Boyne Mountain for this annual ski weekend. The weekend event runs from Friday, January 13 – Monday, January 16, and will feature non-stop skiing and parties. Participants are coming from all parts of the United States, Canada and the U.K. to experience this annual extravaganza. Great people, great resort and a great time! All events are open to the public.
2012 MLK Ski Weekend Activities:
FRIDAY
- 4pm-9pm: Check-in and registration, Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa Lobby
- 10pm-2am: Welcome Reception and Old School Music Party featuring a meet & greet, speed dating and old school music favorites, Civic Center – $20 at the door or $75 for weekend wristband
SATURDAY
- Skiing all day
- Tubing TBD
- 3pm-7pm: Happy Hour featuring NFL Playoffs, karaoke and social networking, Snowflake Lounge – no cover
- 7pm-9pm: Comedy Show featuring Howie Bell, Vienna Room Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa – $20 at the door or $75 for weekend wristband *21 and older
- 10pm-2am Pajama Party featuring WSG R&B performing artist and DJ MoBeatz, Civic Center – $20 at the door or $75 for weekend wristband
SUNDAY
- Skiing all day
- Tubing TBD
- 3pm-7pm Happy Hour featuring NFL football playoffs, DJ Johnny Storm and social networking, Snowflake Lounge – no cover

Visit one of the largest private properties in Little Traverse Conservancy’s service area now protected with a conservation
easement. Greenwood Sanctuary is a haven for elk, porcupine, and a multitude of other wildlife. Landowner George Jury opens his gates and invites us in to explore. Trails will be groomed for skiing and snowshoeing, if snow permits. Please bring your own skis or snowshoes. No charge for this outing but pre-registration is required by calling 231.347.0991.

The gang from Huck Finn will be at Boyne Highlands to host a Halfpipe and Slopestyle competition.
The Huck Finn Series of events are sanctioned by USASA and top finishers will earn points towards an invite to nationals. For more information, visit www.boneheadx.com.

The 47th Annual Moose Jaw Safari snowmobile ride is a 20mile group ride from Harbor Springs city limits to Center Township hall near Larks Lake. Hot dogs and our famous bean soup will warm you after the ride! Pre-Registration begins at 8:30am in Harbor Springs at the Skating Park on Hoyt Street. Guides leave at 10am sharp and travel approximately 20 miles north, stopping a few times for riders to rest. The ride is a very leisurely, all ages and rider abilities welcome! Vintage sleds encouraged! This event is free, but donations to the Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club grooming fund are much appreciated. Hope you see you there!
